Esophageal Stent to be installed Thursday

I received a call from the Digestive Diseases Clinic at the University of Washington.  The "procedure" (they call it a procedure rather than a surgery, although they need a full operating room to do it in) will be performed by a Dr. Saunders at 2:45 pm Thursday.  I hope this goes better than the laryngoplasty last May.  It should be done on an outpatient basis but they are reserving a bed for me should anything go awry.
