I have had so many friends diagnosed with cancer recently, I can't help but wonder about our indirect consumption of chemicals as a catalyst.

Strangely, the healthy growth may just mean the potato was old. Potatoes have a natural dormant period, the length of which depends on variety and storage conditions. I don't know if this applies to sweet potatoes as well.
